These new online programs developed by the University of Michigan give you an opportunity to take a deep look into cutting-edge topics delivered by U-M and industry subject experts in online sessions that take four to six hours to complete.

If you’d like to have access to interactive online participation with course instructors, including the ability to email questions to faculty and participate in discussions and web conferencing, you can take courses during a pre-established schedule. If you prefer, you can take the courses whenever you want, but you won’t have access to the interactive options.

The program offers eight different courses. Successful completion of any four of these courses is required to receive an Emerging Automotive Technologies certification. (Students seeking certification must pass a final test in each of their four courses). Courses may also be taken individually by those who are not interested in becoming certified.
